Matt Hassloch, unless it STOPS right now, is going to bring plenty of heat and unwanted attention to a certain high-profile and married full colonel who, back along, as an 0-5, had a steamy affair with a female captain in his Tupelo-based outfit.

She's gone on to "bigger" and better things, pun intended, but he could get the boot, as the last thing Gov. Barbour needs is a self-righteous phony and moralizing hypocrite around. A thing like that could get into the CLARION-LEDGER and then out on the AP wire. A public affairs officer's nightmare.
